The founder and director of the UTCM Acupuncture Research and Education College and the UTCM Holistic Medicine Centre, Prof. Li is a world-renowned acupuncturists. Because of his expertise, he was elected to the Executive Council of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) for several years. When the Expert Committee of Acupuncture Manipulation of the WFSCM was formed in 2012, Prof. Li was one of the few honored acupuncturists to showcase at the celebration to the world.

Prof. Li. has over 30 years of acupuncture clinical practice and teaching. He is one of the few in the world that mastered many acupuncture classical techniques results, some of them are in danger of becoming lost arts. He also developed UTCMH Acupuncture System, a new acupuncture treatment system, referencing the TCM classics such as the Yellow Emperor’s Internal Classic, the Classic on Difficulties, and the Classic of Cold-Febrile Diseases. He authored the book 《UTCMH SCIENCE OF ACUPUNCTURE》, documented the science and the mechanisms behind his new treatment system. Prof. Li has extensive experiences supporting patients to deal with different kinds of complications and body disorders in Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Oncology, Geriatrics, and many other fields.

作爲天一中醫針灸研發教育學院和天一中醫針灸治療中心的創始人和負責人，李榮剛教授是世界著名的針灸專家，也是世界上最好的針灸師之一。因爲其卓越的針法，他連續數年擔任世界中醫藥聯合會的常務理事，2012年在該組織中醫手法專業的成立大會上，代表世界頂級針灸水平做過慶祝針法表演。
